Andrew (Drew) Lisowski graduated Manga Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, Virginia. While there, he studied with Akemi Takayama, Doris Lederer, and Peter Sirotin. Mr. Lisowski is currently the Orchestra Director at Falls Church High School and Pine Spring Elementary School, both in Fairfax County. In 2012, Mr. Lisowski was nominated for Fairfax County Public School's Outstanding First Year Teacher of the Year award for his work at Falls Church High School. He has also been featured on Red Apple 21's Insight program (Fairfax County Public School's cable access channel). Mr. Lisowski has worked with the McLean Youth Orchestra from 2008-2012 serving as a sectional coach, rehearsal conductor, and conductor. He also helped run the McLean Youth Orchestra's summer program for three years. In addition to his teaching duties, Mr. Lisowski performs regularly with the Loudoun Symphony Orchestra.
